APIP was established to bridge the gap between the client companies and the Indigenous communities. Our unique proposition is to provide skilled Indigenous staff to industry sectors.
APIP was created through the collaboration of an Indigenous engagement company, a registered training organisation, and an experienced labour hire and recruitment company. This partnership offers a nationwide, end-to-end service for identifying, training, mentoring, and placing Indigenous Australians into long-term, sustainable employment.
APIP’s owner and Managing Director, Noel Gertz, has spent 30 years advocating employment for Indigenous people, which included his previous roles at TAFE, and mining companies including Copper Chem Limited. Noel has been recognised by the Queensland Resources Council in 2016 for his work in Indigenous advocacy over those decades. He has also received a national recognition award from Skills DMC for training and employment services to the Indigenous communities in 2011.
APIP will facilitate collaborative processes with government and community-based resource agencies to plan, design and implement complex and multi stakeholder initiatives. APIP works in conjunction with Civil Safety RTO #32381 to provide safety advice and training programs and will source additional training services in circumstances where Civil Safety RTO #32381 cannot provide the type of training required.
APIP works to bridge the gap by offering specialist recruitment, training, mentoring and placement services.
